What to Expect at ASTCT’s Clinical Education Conference

ASTCT’s Clinical Education Conference will take place Sept. 29-30 in Fort Worth, Texas. Conference attendees will learn about the latest trends in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, as well as how to incorporate new or additional methods of supportive care to reduce complications and improve patients’ quality of life.
Attendees will participate in breakout sessions that will dig deeper into case studies and treatment of adult or pediatric patient populations. Additionally, the conference offers a track specifically designed for those new to the hematopoietic cell transplantation and cell therapy field.

Chelsea Honstain, MS, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner on the pediatric stem cell transplant and cellular therapy team at University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. She is vice chair of the ASTCT Advanced Practice Provider Special Interest Group, chair of the ASTCT APP Education Committee and co-chair of ASTCT’s Clinical Education Conference planning committee.
