Through expert dialogue and case-based scenarios, panelists will share real-world approaches, discuss challenges in treatment selection and sequencing, and explore considerations across diverse patient populations and practice settings.

Albuquerque and Bazaco will present two articles related to B-cell depletion for prevention of corticosteroid-requiring cGVHD and Fludarabine vs Bendamustine as a lymphodepleting chemotherapy prior to CAR-T for large cell lymphoma. 

The HUG Pulmonology Service invites you to a three-day conference, bringing together international experts from various disciplines — pulmonology, hematology of transplantation, immunology, infectious diseases, radiology and biostatistics — to exchange information on pulmonary GVHD.

Building on the original 2019 framework for cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS), the initiative reviewed emerging toxicities such as IEC-associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis-like syndrome (IEC-HS), hematotoxicity, non-ICANS neurological complications, enterocolitis, tumor inflammation-associated neurotoxicity, and on-target, off-tumor effects. The updated consensus criteria aims to standardize toxicity assessment across clinical trials and real-world practice, enabling more consistent reporting, comparison of treatment outcomes, and improved patient management.
