Joint meeting offers opportunities for scientific exchange, mentorship, collaboration

The Joint Basic and Translational Scientific Meeting, cohosted by the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and European Bone Marrow Transplantation Society, will be held May 28-29 in Philadelphia.
The meeting will bring together immunologists, stem cell biologists and clinicians to advance the science underpinning hematopoietic cell transplantation, as well as cellular and gene therapies.
Ahead of the meeting, ASTCT spoke with cochairs Pavan Reddy, MD, FACP, and Nicolaus Kröger, MD, about what attendees can expect, from cutting-edge science on tolerance and tumor immunity to meaningful mentorship opportunities for trainees.
