ASTCT 2023 International Trainee Observership

ASTCT is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the ASTCT 2023 International Trainee Observership program. This pilot program was created to provide an opportunity for physicians from low-income countries to receive training and observerships from designated institutions in the United States, in order to foster relationships and strengthen international application of BMT and related cellular therapies.

The 2023 International Trainee Observership will be held at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT from January 16 – February 13. After the conclusion of the Observership, the trainee will attend the 2023 Tandem Meetings in Orlando, FL to wrap up their experience. ASTCT will cover all of the accepted individuals costs, including lodging, board, airfare, visa, health insurance, and COVID testing.

All applicants must be a trainee or junior faculty and citizen of and practice in a country that is considered lower middle income or lower income by the World Bank.

Applications will close on Friday, August 5 at 5 PM CST.
